| A fine Art Deco period 14K gold ring with a synthetic sapphire surrounded by diamonds. The diamonds are are set in silver, but the shank and undercarriage of the ring test 14K gold. There are a total of 14 old rose cut diamond a little over .25 carat in diamond weight. The ring is a size 5 3/4 but can be resized. The top measures 1/2" square. Condition is excellent and the ring dates c. 1930. In was not unusual in that period to substitute synthetics for the stones. | |||||||
