A fine Victorian 14K gold and almandine garnet double snake brooch, c. 1880. The piece has two entwined repousse snakes. It tests 14K but is not marked. The back of the pin has a few dings, and the clasp, which would have originally been a C clasp, has been replaced with a more secure clasp. The top of the pin, however, is in excellent condition.
