Antoine Louis Barye, French, 1796-1875, Bronze Rabbit, Circa 1850. A fine 19th century small bronze depicting a rabbit feeding on a head of cabbage. The piece has a fine rich patina and is fitted on its original white marble base. Condition: Very good. The bronze is signed Barye near the tail. Dimensions without base, Length 3 1/2", Width 2 1/8", Height 1 1/2".
