This folding lorgnette (the lenses fold back into the handle for safe-keeping), has a rather unusual design with silver overlay in swirls and loops along the length of the handle. The handle measures 8 1/4" and is in very good condition with only a small amount of the silver overlay missing at the very top. English or Continental, c. 1875.
