A fine English George III period carved gilt wood mirror with eglomise tablet, circa 1800. The mirror surmounted with a carved eagle over peaked crest with a reverse painted tablet flanked by urn and flame finials. The tablet is decorated with a center reserve painted in gold depicting a rural building. Then reserve is surrounded by rockwork ground in white. The vertical mirror plate is flanked by two reeded columns. Condition: Very Good. Dimensions; Height 45", Width 19".".
