A fine English Georgian barometer, signed J. Gobbi, Stroudwater circa 1800. The mahogany barometer with a pedimented top with a brass finial and inlaid sunburst over the baluster form center fitted with a thermometer flanked with inlaid shells. The dial with a silvered face and engraved with the maker's name and locale. The barometer is in excellent working condition. Dimensions: Height 38 1/2", Width 10 1/4".
