This is a fine and unusual pair of Italian cufflinks which were crafted in the form of a $2.50 American Coin which is dated 1900. The earrings are finely engraved with an Indian Head on the front and an eagle (like the real coins) on teh back. They have wires and a hook for pierced ears. There is a little mark which indicates that they are from Italy. They probably date c. 1940s or 50s and are in excellent condition. They have a diameter of 11/16" and weigh 2.2 grams each so are very comfortable. A perfect gift for a coin lover who doesn't like heavy earrings.
