The Adventures Of Johnny Newcome In The Navy; A Poem In Four Cantos: With Plates By Rowlandson, From The Author's Designs, By Alfred Burton, London: Published By W. Simpkin And R. Marshall Stationers'-Court, Ludgate Street 1818. The book has a later leather binding with what appear to be the original baize covers affixed to pages at the rear. Good, some foxing and acid staining in the text and in the plates. It appears that page 210 had a problem in the press as it is partially printed on two sheets. A previous handler of the book notes it as mend. The book is illustrated with numerous colored plates. Please e-mail specific questions. It appears that this is a first edition.
