A fine sterling silver, copper and carved stone pin by the Modernist designer, Sam Kramer (1913 - 1964). The stone, which is green in color, is very similar in feel to Lava. The piece is Anthropomorphic in design, with a human feel. The stone has a copper bezel. It does have a minute bit of movement within the bezel, but is secure in it. A fine and unusual sterling silver and red coral brooch signed LINARDOVICH. The piece is quite heavy and has a C clasp. It measures 2 1/4" in diameter and weighs 54 grams, so needs to be worn on a jacket or thick fabric. Condition is excellent.
