A wonderful unusual Victorian 14K rose gold ring with a carved shell cameo ring. The cameo depicts a smiling clown with a ruffled neck and a Sombrero type hat. The cameo is encased in a rose gold bezel. The ring is a size 7 1/2 and the top measures 7/8" by a little over 5/8". Condition is excellent and it dates c. 1890.
