A fun 18K gold and multi color gemstone "Sputnik" ring, c. 1955. The dome has garnets, amethysts, tourmalines, citrines and aqua marines. It is not marked but tests 18K. It appears that it was sized, and that probably was where the mark was. The ring is in the style of those which were designed by H. Stern. The ring measures 3/4" in diameter and weighs 4.8 grams. It is currently a size 5 1/2, but can easily be resized. Condition is excellent.
