A fine and rare pair of English Sheffield plate 3 light wall sconces circa 1850. Each sconce fitted to a back plate with a central projecting arm supporting three scrolled arms with candle sockets. Condition: Very good. Dimensions: Height- 8 in. Length- 16 1/2 in. Width- 18 1/2 in.

This American Renaissance Revival two-light sconces are constructed of sculpted brass with black iron appliques. The back plate (which is marked NYLco -New Your Lighting Company?) measures 10" high, while the arms extend 10 inches. Each sconce arm, point to candle light socket is 7". We are showing them with candle bulbs and clip on crepe shades. American manufacture, c. 1910-1920, in excellent condition.

In a handsome, and unusual design, these Georgian style sconces have a frosted glass shade on a bronze frame adorned with a jasper ware inset in the style of Wedgwood.
