A fine German Eighteenth Century inlaid mahogany bureau, circa 1780. The bureau is Georgian in form with a serpentine top and case over a base with bracket feet. The top and sides are are decorated with an all-over diamond and dot inlay. The drawer fronts are inlaid with repeating swags in satinwood. The shaped top with inlaid panels of burled walnut over a bombe case fitted with three drawers over a shaped skirt over short feet. A fine Continental inlaid walnut candlestand, probably German, circa 1800-1820. The pictorial top with convex sides is inlaid with a crest incorporating a sheep under a crown with trailing acanthus leaves. There is a very fine cross banded border in mahogany framing the image. A fine Italian carved gilt wood Baroque Style mirror, circa 1900. The vertical mirror plate is surmounted with a carved urn capped with an acanthus bouquet. An acanthus vine flares from the sides of the urn to the mirror below and continues to each side. There are similar leafy appliques on the lower frame.
