A fine Early Nineteenth Century American painted blanket chest, probably Pennsylvania or New York State, circa 1820. The chest constructed of poplar has a wonderful and original painted surface with repeating swirls in a mustard colored paint. Condition is very good. A fine American Frederal inlaid mahogany five leg card table, New York, circa 1790. The demilune folding top is inlaid with a single line around its perimeter and inset line inlay on the edges. The frieze is decorated with rectangular panels of string outline the voids between the legs. The four primary legs are inlaid with oval reserves with " lily of the valley ", above husk inlays enclosed with a double line string. The legs have a cuff inlay at the base. Condition: Very good. A fine American Federal mahogany sideboard, Baltimore, circa 1790. The serpentine shaped top , over a conforming case fitted with two short side drawers flanking a larger center drawer. Below the drawers are two side cupboards and a center cupboard with bowed doors. Flanking the center cupboard are two narrow cutlery drawers. An Eighteenth Century American comb back Windsor rocking chair, circa 1780. The chair has a serpentine shaped crest above a spindled back over a D-shaped seat above ring and baluster turned legs. The chair was later adapted as a rocking chair in the 19th Century. The surface is painted black. Condition: Very good. Dimensions: Height: 43"(back), Depth: 17 1/4" (seat), Width: 24" (arm to arm).
An American Federal period slant front desk, probably Middle Atlantic, circa 1800. The desk with a fitted interior with small drawers and dividers in cherry and maple hidden by the solid cherry lid, over a case with three long drawers.
