A fascinating decorative item from Nineteenth Century France: a stamped brass frame measuring 14" x 12" (surrounding a mirror 7" x 5 1/2"). It has a rich, normally aged patina, and looks handsome on a wall (as it has for 150 years!). France, c. 1870
This triple, carved, gilt wood Italian frame dates from the 1920's. It measures 16 1/2" x 14". The two rectangular frames will hold a 4 1/2' x 3" image, while the oval opening is 3" x 2 1/4". It is in excellent condition.
