These unmarked American coin silver salt and pepper shakers, most likely New York or Philadelphia, measure 6 1/4" high, 1 5/8" in diameter at the base, and approximately 2 1/8" in diameter at their broadest point. They are in very good condition, with evidence of being well used. There is some slight crimping on the base of one, and some bruising on the repousse, otherwise fine. American manufacture, c. 1850.

A fine antique George III period silver mug made by Hester Bateman, London, 1785-86. The baluster form mug with a double scrolled handle with an acanthus decorated thumb rest. The front is decorated with an oval bright cut floral band encasing a bright cut armorial crest depicting a lion. Hallmarks are stamped in the base. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Height 5 1/4", Width 5". Weight 14 Troy ounces.

A Late Nineteenth Century Continental silver reticulated vase with floral repousse decoration. The vase is trumpet in form with swirling acanthus leaves with perched birds. The upper portion of the vase with blown out floral blossoms. The vase has a cranberry colored glass insert. The has illegible European hallmarks on the base. It is stamped Black Starr and Frost as well. ( The likely retailer in the U.S. ) Condition: Very Good. Dimensions: Height 11", Width 4".
