The box is oval in shape with a hinged lid that is decorated with four floral sprays framing a floral basket bouquet with the motto " Remember me When this you see ". Condition: Very good. An unusual Japanese Late Nineteenth Century cloisonne lobed plate circa 1900. The plate with a lobed edge with two outer borders with repeating scrolls framing a central field with a colorful phoenix bird. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Mounted on a mocha colored velvet cloth and framed in gold, this Limoges, or Limoges-style French plaque itself measures 2 1/2" x 3", while the mounted work measures 6 1/2" x 5 1/2". The plaque displays a scene of the nativity with Joseph watching Mary and the infant Jesus being adored by angels. The piece is in excellent condition, museum quality framing and dates from c. 1900.
