A set of five Delft tiles, each measuring 5" x 5" and each with a different Biblical theme, and with the reference to the scene described at the bottom. The scenes of the scourging of Jesus, Ezekiel's chariot, Moses and the tablets, the death of Absolom, and the angel appearing to the women mourners at the tomb of the risen Christ. A European, probably Dutch tin glazed polychrome plate with floral decoration. The outer border painted with three blossoms and trailing leaves surrounding the center with a weeping willow tree and a large flowering plant. The rear of the plate marked AK in a monogram type mark. Condition: generally very good, with some expected chipping on the rim. Dimensions: Diameter 9 1/2".
A pair of Late 18th or Early 19th Century tin glazed ceramic vases circa 1800. Each painted in cobalt blue with scenic landscape and farm houses in the country. The vases are marked B:P on the underside of the base. Each vase with some chipping and glaze loss on the rims and on the edges of the bases. Dimensions: Height 7 3/16", Width 4 1/2".
