The porcelain incorporates a textured surface to enhance the image. The subject is probably after a Nineteenth Century painting on canvas. An fine and unusual pair of Nineteenth Century French Paris porcelain vases mounted as lamps, circa 1880. Each vase with gilt scrolled handles over figural masks in relief. The light green ground is painted with a bird and a floral vine centering a transfer reserve with young children. The first with two young Black girls and a Caucasian baby. This pair of 6 1/4" - 16 mm high vases have bronze mounted rims and bases, and have the green "MP Sevres" mark. Each has a midnight blue glaze, and are in excellent condition. They were manufactured in France c. 1910.

In wonderful, rich magenta and lime, with floral reserves, this Old Paris porcelain vase measures 6.1/2" high and 7 3/4" in length. This handsome piece, dating from c. 1850 is in excellent condition, with only some rubbing on the gold decoration.

A fine German Sevres style porcelain box circa 1930. The hinged and lidded box with a rich blue ground is painted with three colorful floral sprays set in reserves with gilt acanthus leaf borders. The base has an additional bouquet. The interior is also painted with small single blossoms. Both the lid and base are fitted with gilt bronze collar mounts.
