This handled vase bears the mark of the Burmantoft factory (England, c. 1904), who called this glaze "rich red" which, indeed, it is. It measures 10" in height, and 7 1/4" in width, handle to handle. It is in excellent condition.

An Early Nineteenth Century English earthenware basket circa 1820. The oval basket has two applied handles and is decorated with a transfer border of grapes and leaves on the inner and outer surface. The lower field is reticulated with a band of ovoid rings. Condition is very good. There are three, barely detectable, minute hairlines in the lower rings.
