Measuring 9 1/4" in diameter, these exquisite plates, each with a different hand-painted floral center, are bordered in thick gold and a rich turquoise. Although not marked, their quality is reminiscent of Copeland, Coalport, or Minton - the finest British porcelain manufactures of the Nineteenth Century. They are in excellent condition with only the most insignificant rubbing, and date from c. 1880.

This stunning early Victorian (c. 1840-50) English porcelain dessert set consists of nine plates, two oval footed dishes, two rectangular footed dishes and a tall tazza. All are in excellent condition with the exception of some crazing on the tazza foot. The plates measure 9 1/4" in diameter, while the tazza is 6" high and 13" across.
